Wreck Diving Certification
Wreck diving is one of our most popular certifications. The North Carolina coast is known as the "Graveyard of the Atlantic" due to its underwater topology, it's geography and WWII shipping lanes. With over 100 fabulous wrecks accessible via charter boats, your wreck training will teach you how to safely enjoy diving on, or in, these amazing hidden treasures. Every visit to these wrecks reveal new items and, sometimes, even treasures.

Our Wreck certification class fee includes:
- Your online learning, tests & one on one instructor review.
- 2 instructor-led dives in open water on wreck sites.
- Wreck certification card & processing fees.
What you will learn:
- Surface support considerations
- Buddy system & contact procedures
- Navigation & charting
- Disorientation drills
- Special Equipment requirements
- Limited visibility diving
- Life line & reels types, procedures and usage
- Special emergency procedures

Requirements:
Wreck Diving certification prerequisites:
- Minimum age is 18, 15+ have limited penetration with parental consent
- Deep diver speciality or proof of experience with dives under 18m/60 feet
- Approved diver medical form
- Liability waiver
Gear requirements:
- Standard scuba gear (Regulators, BCD, Weights, Tanks)
- Spare mask, 2 underwater lights, reel/spool, full wetsuit (for abrasion protection).
Class requirements:
- Satisfactorily complete the online learning course with a test score of 80% or higher.
- After instructor remediation, a test score of 100%
- Demonstrate mature and sound judgment concerning dive planning and execution.Satisfactorily complete the online learning course.
- Complete all open water requirements safely and efficiently.
- Upload a photo to the certifying agency website (no hats or sunglasses)
Time Requirements:
- 2-3 hours for online learning
- 4-6 hours of instructor led surface & in-water training
