Open Water Dives

This event is for already enrolled Open Water Students who have completed ALL of their confined water dives and are ready to move into open water. If you haven't already enrolled into you Open Water Certification class, please visit our beginner scuba diving lessons page for more information or see our already scheduled Open Water Certification | Pool Dives classes.

Congratulations on finishing your confined water pool sessions! The next step of your training is to go out into open water and show us what you learned in the pool. This session consist of 2 dives on 2 different days (4 dives total).

• 1st day - Instructor briefing & skill review, student skill demonstrations
• 2nd day - Instructor briefing & skill review, student skill demonstrations, buoyancy work, dive planning
• Your instructor will reach out regarding times, specific meeting place and any weather/logistical concerns prior to diving.

• Plan on each session lasting about 5 hours, minus transporting your gear in and out of the pool area.
• RSD will provide your BCD, Tanks, Regulators & Wetsuit
• Student must provide their own personal gear (mask, fins, snorkel).
• Quarry or charter fees are completely separate and must be paid for by the student.
