Night/Limited Visibility Course

Home Advanced Scuba Diving Courses Night/Limited Visibility Course

Night or Limited Visibility diving is one of our most often asked about classes, both how to get certified & “is it scary?” To answer both questions, it’s easy. Regardless of what body of water you dive in, aquatic life acts completely differently & even the most elusive come out (like our favorite: octopus). You can feed some critters using your lights (tarpons), find some hanging out on coral heads (crabs), or some simply sleeping. In addition, this course will teach you not only how to dive at night, but dive in limited visibility as well (quarries, lakes, etc. are well known for having less than optimal visibility). Earning your certification prepares you for different diving conditions.

What to expect in this course:

Diving at night/low visibility is a whole new experience. Even when diving in a location you are familiar with, everything simply looks different. You’ll find a whole different set of aquatic life out at night making even an old dive location seem “new”. Expect to learn about, experience, & overcome the challenges diving at night or low visibility presents with one of our specialty instructors.
