Created by Divers Alert Network (DAN), this course teaches divers (and non-divers alike) how to respond to emergencies as well as conduct cursory neurological exams. It goes above and beyond scuba agency medical training and is recommended for divers who enjoy diving in remote areas where emergency services may take a while to arrive. This class fulfills the prerequisite requirements for our rescue course.

This course teaches neurological evaluations, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), first aid, automated external defibrillator (AED), laceration treatment, BVM usage, Oxygen administration & more combined into one program. It is designed to teach the techniques to administer CPR, first aid, utilize an AED & handle other common injuries in an emergency situations involving infants, children, and adults. This course fulfills the prerequisite for earning your Rescue diver certification.
